The property offers 24 rooms, with solutions overlooking the garden or the sea, and features an all-day restaurant, beach service, bar, terrace, common room and free private parking. The location makes Ermoupoli, the island’s capital, easily accessible while maintaining a relaxed, intimate atmosphere suitable for both couples and families.
In this project, the choice of surfaces plays a central role. For the common areas and bathrooms, the hotel selected the Dinamika Marble Edition collection by Ceramica Conca, enriched by the Moving decorative motif.
Dinamika Marble Edition: the materiality of marble in a contemporary interpretation
Dinamika Marble Edition reinterprets the allure of marble through a ceramic surface conceived for elegant, coordinated and durable interior design projects. The collection brings the visual richness of natural stones into the spaces, with veining, contrasts and color variations that can converse with different design styles.
At Armia Experience Hotel, this interpretation of marble helps define an aesthetic language consistent with the island’s character: essential yet refined, luminous yet tactile, contemporary without losing its link to Mediterranean tradition.
The result is a surface that accompanies the guest throughout the stay, from the first entrance into the hall to the restaurant and service areas, creating a continuous and harmonious perception of the architecture.
Moving, a decorative motif that evokes the movement of water
Moving is one of the three decorated backgrounds in the Marble Edition collection, produced in the innovative 120x120 cm format. Its role is to enrich the collection with scenic panels that can be combined, depending on design requirements, with the other backgrounds in the series.
The circular design arises from the juxtaposition of tiles inspired by different marbles. Each element preserves its own three-dimensionality and specificity, while the whole generates a dynamic composition capable of visually expanding the surface and attracting the eye.
The Moving motif evokes the rotational movement of water, recalling the mosaic floors of Christian basilicas, where decorative compositions often depicted sacred scenes or natural elements.
This resonance makes the motif especially fitting for a seafront hotel like Armia Experience Hotel. The circular graphic recalls the rhythm of the waves and the fluidity of water, turning the ceramic surface into a narrative element of the project.
A coordinated surface for every area of the hotel
The versatility of Dinamika Marble Edition allows the collection to be used in a variety of contexts while maintaining a recognizable aesthetic identity. Within Armia Experience Hotel, the surfaces have been applied in the common areas, the hall and reception, the work space, the corridors, the restaurant and the bathrooms, both on floors and as wall cladding.
Hall and reception: the first encounter with the project
The hall and reception are the hotel’s first point of contact with guests. Here the ceramic surface becomes an integral part of the welcome: the Moving design and the marble effect of Dinamika Marble Edition immediately introduce the hotel’s atmosphere, defined by natural light, soft tones and references to the island landscape.
The combination with arches, furnishings in natural fibres and vegetation helps create a warm, distinctive environment where the floor is not just a finish but a true compositional element.
Work space, corridors and restaurant: continuity and character
In the work space and corridors, the collection supports the daily use of the areas with a discreet yet recognizable presence. The large 120x120 cm format highlights the decorative graphic and enables a broader, more scenographic reading of the surfaces.
In the restaurant, the dialogue between the floor, the wall claddings and the natural elements of the furnishings contributes to a complete sensory experience. The materiality of the ceramic marble integrates with light, wood, woven fibres and the sea view, shaping a space that is at once elegant and informal.
The bathrooms: the detail that completes the experience
In the hotel’s bathrooms, Dinamika Marble Edition has been used on floors and as wall cladding. This choice creates a coordinated, enveloping effect in which veining and motifs define a continuous surface with strong visual impact.
The use of ceramics in these spaces also responds to the needs of a hotel project: the surface is designed to combine aesthetic value, practicality and ease of maintenance—fundamental aspects in areas subject to frequent use.
Ceramic design as part of the hotel’s identity
The Armia Experience Hotel project demonstrates how the choice of floors and wall coverings can decisively contribute to building the identity of a hospitality venue. When the surface dialogues with the context, the furnishings and the light, the hotel becomes a coherent experience in every detail.
With Dinamika Marble Edition and Moving, Ceramica Conca brings to Vári a vision of marble that combines elegance and functionality, memory and contemporaneity. The motif recalls the history of the mosaic and the movement of water; the large format interprets current architectural needs, offering wide expanses and a distinctive scenographic presence.
From the hall to the bathrooms, from the work space to the restaurant, every area of Armia Experience Hotel thus tells the same idea of hospitality: authentic, luminous and deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape.
