The Expo Osaka 2025 adventure came to an end a few days ago with an audience with the Most Excellent Captains Regent dedicated to all the event's sponsors, including Ceramica Faetano.
Involving students from the University of San Marino in the design of the pavilion led to a project that not only showcased the academic excellence of the University, but also the natural beauty and morphological uniqueness of Mount Titano and its surrounding landscape. The sensory experience offered to visitors aimed to convey the essence of San Marino through touch, hearing, and sight, creating a deep connection between tradition and innovation.
Thanks to the collaboration with Ceramica Faetano, Gruppo Del Conca, the San Marino Pavilion was enriched with exceptional materials, such as the Stratum porcelain stoneware decoration from the Bioterre collection and the large-format concrete-effect tiles from the Timeline collection. These collections of floor and wall tiles helped to recreate a welcoming and charming environment for visitors.
Ceramica del Conca's highly successful Timeline collection represents an excellent synthesis of industrial design and aesthetic comfort. This concrete-effect porcelain stoneware collection stands out for its large format and slabs, which recall the austerity of industrial floors but with a touch of visual softness. The surfaces are enriched with graphic marks that seem to blend with the material, giving spaces a distinctive expressive formality. The color palette expands beyond the classic gray, white, beige, and taupe, including innovative shades such as Canyon, Sun, and Nightfall. In perfect line with the trends dictated by the Pantone Institute, the new Absolute White shade has recently been launched.
Expo 2025 in Osaka represented a unique opportunity for the Republic of San Marino to showcase its cultural and landscape identity to the world.
