Die Creme Project: The Elegance of Venetian Terrazzo in the Heart of Berlin

The DIE CREME project, located in the dynamic urban landscape of Berlin, represents excellence in contemporary interior design applied to the food & beverage sector. Designed and supervised in 2021 by Sylwia Chwat of TGH Studio, this breakfast venue stands out for its philosophy of combining high-quality organic products with a sophisticated and welcoming aesthetic.

A Feminine and Contemporary Concept

The designer's goal was to create a space that broke away from the classic aesthetic standards of West Berlin, introducing a contemporary variety capable of reflecting the vibrant soul of the German capital. The interiors are characterized by a markedly feminine touch, perfectly aligned with the owner's vision and the venue's identity.
The color palette focuses on a range of beige tones, chosen to ensure homogeneity and a constant sense of freshness. In a compact space of just 55sqm, intelligent volume management was essential: the integration of a bench in the main sales area maximized seating, while the use of glass partitions to separate the kitchen made the craftsmanship of artisanal baking visible to customers.

The Protagonist: The Frammenti Collection by Faetano

The aesthetic and functional highlight of the venue is the flooring, where the Frammenti collection by Faetano (Del Conca) plays a central role. This line offers a modern interpretation of the timeless charm of Venetian terrazzo, also known as battuto veneziano, merging traditional craftsmanship with the technical performance of porcelain stoneware.

"Small fragments of marble, pottery, and glass find their elegant geometric composition within the space, creating a visual dialogue between past and future."
The choice of the Frammenti collection is no coincidence: its texture, rich in material details, harmonizes with the interplay of materials envisioned by TGH Studio, adding visual depth without sacrificing the formal cleanliness of neutral tones

Performance and Durability for Commercial Spaces

In a high-traffic environment like DIE CREME, where customer flow is constant and weekend queues are common, the choice of Del Conca porcelain stoneware ensures uncompromising durability. The surface of the Frammenti collection not only delivers a high-level aesthetic impact but also guarantees ease of maintenance and wear resistance—critical factors for the success of any commercial business.
The final result is an environment that radiates harmony, where TGH Studio's architectural mastery meets the material quality of Faetano surfaces, making DIE CREME a landmark for those seeking an exclusive breakfast experience in Berlin.
