A meeting on design at the Cino Mularoni Foundation on November 20

On the occasion of the exhibition Art and Design, Design is Art, the Cino Mularoni Foundation, in collaboration with the San Marino National Gallery, invites you to a special meeting on Thursday, November 20, at 5:30 p.m., at its headquarters in Faetano, Strada del Marano 24, to rediscover the San Marino paths created on the design of the Souvenir of San Marino in ceramics.

During the 1950s and 1960s, the ceramic creations of San Marino workshops reached such levels of excellence that they established themselves on markets around the world.

Artists, entrepreneurs, designers, and hundreds of skilled craftsmen produced a vast and varied range of everyday and collectible items: advertising gadgets, ashtrays, souvenirs, and home accessories, contributing to the country's rebirth and becoming its driving force.

The Foundation's spaces display a collection of bottles in various forms, including flasks, amphorae, water bottles, small barrels, jugs, ampoules, containers for liquids and beverages, and, to a limited extent, perfumes and balms, made for important clients such as Buton, Luxardo, Drioli, Vlahov, Garnier, and many others.  Small and large bottles immediately became objects of desire, to be collected.
